Graham Baba is a design collective in Seattle with two principals, thirteen design staff and three dogs.
We are focused on close collaboration with clients and crafts people, honest expression of materials and structure, and integrated, living buildings.
Started his own firm in Capitol Hill in 1999, and has been working in architecture in Seattle for 16 years. He is very committed to the craft of building and is active in the local design, construction, and craftsman community.
Brett joined Jim to form Graham Baba Architects in 2006 . Brett has been working as an architect 30 years on residential and public projects in Seattle and elsewhere. He is deemed the “detail master”.
A Northwest native working in Architecture in Seattle since 2002 and with Graham Baba since 2007, after graduating from the University of Southern California.
Born and raised in Italy, Francesco has a strong background in Interior Design for both commercial and residential spaces. Francesco has an impressive retail and restaurant design portfolio.
Native to Texas, Noreen has been working in Seattle since 2006 after completing school at University of Texas, Austin.
A native Iowan, Lauren began working with Graham Baba when she moved to Seattle in 2011. She has her Bachelor’s in economics from Northwestern University and M.Arch from Iowa State University.
Susan has been working in Architecture since 1999 after getting her M.Arch. from the University of Oregon, and has experience in a variety of project types including commercial, residential and public work. Previous lives include a stint as an editor in New York City, teaching English in Japan, and living and working in a Parisian bookstore.
From a small-town Onalaska, Washington, and a degree from the University of Washington, Melissa has been with Graham Baba since March 2012. She is inspired by simple, creative adaptations people make to their physical environments around the world and strives to apply that freshness to the buildings and spaces she touches.
Working at Graham Baba since January 2012, Jenn graduated with her M.Arch from Washington State University in the winter of 2011. A Seattle native, she is inspired by traditional northwest aesthetics with simple yet innovative twists.
Maureen is a Seattle native with 20 years of experience working in architecture and planning from residential to large complex public projects, with a passion for sustainability and higher education she sits on the regional council of SCUP. She has an undergraduate from the University of Washington and a Master of Architecture from UC Berkeley.
Born and raised in Brazil, Carlos has recently moved to Seattle from Detroit, Michigan where he worked for 4 years in architecture/design.When he is not designing he is usually getting lost in the mountains somewhere...
Andy grew up on the east side of the Cascades and has been living in Seattle since 2007, completing his Master of Architecture degree at the University of Washington at the end of 2011.
Jason began his path to design with over 13 years as a craftsman. His love of building and art, and the desire to blend the two led him to pursue a degree in Architecture, which he is currently completing at the University of Washington.
Leaving the sunshine state of Florida to pursue a degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia, Kiki moved on to work in both Washington D.C. and NYC before moving to Seattle in 2000 to get a Master's in Architecture from the University of Washington. Her studies in architecture have allowed her to travel to Italy, India and Mexico. Kiki's experience includes public, residential and commercial projects and a brief stint working as a project engineer.
Hubert comes into work everyday, rain or shine. Always giving 100% in every aspect of his job. Whether it's working tirelessly to guard the office from outside predetors or keeping everyone in check, he gets the job done with a smile.
Louie has been working with Graham Baba since the beginning. As mascot and pack leader, Louie embodies the relaxed, nonchalant, go getter attitude that Graham Baba strives for everyday.

A native of Spokane, Susan attended both University of Washington and Washtington University in St. Louis to study architecture. With a love for design, craft, and sustainability, Susan has brought a wealth of experience to Graham Baba since starting in April 2012.
